My daughter asked me the other day if my new favorite color was pink. I asked her why and she said, “Because everything you have been making recently is pink!” I guess she is right and I DO love pink. That is why I love Valentine’s Day. I get to make things that are particularly girly and pink! These Valentine Chocolate Marshmallows are pink, simply wonderful and don’t require any baking or melting!
I think they turned out SOOO cute!
To make just press the marshmallow down a little to make it flatter and wider. Don’t press too hard or you will break the marshmallow. If the backside starts to break a little that is okay and will probably happen, but if the whole thing is breaking up then start over with a new one!
Then put a little corn syrup on the chocolate candy and press it onto the marshmallow right in the middle. Then brush the outside of the marshmallow with a light coat of corn syrup and then dip into sprinkles! So easy!
You get the creamy chocolate, crunchy sprinkles and the soft marshmallow all in one bite! Yummy!!!
- large marshmallows (I used pink, but white will work too)
- Dove chocolate hearts or any small chocolate candy like Dove
- clear corn syrup
- Press the marshmallows down with your thumbs. Brush a little corn syrup on the bottom of the chocolate candy and then press the candy onto the marshmallow. Press until you get the shape you want. Fill a small bowl with the sprinkles. Then lightly brush the outside of the marshmallow with the corn syrup and dip the marshmallows into the sprinkles. Repeat until you have the desired amount of candies!
