Mocha Cookie Frozen Coffee

Ever since Starbucks came out with their new Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappucino I knew that I had to try it!  After one sip I knew that I need to make an “at home” variety so that I could enjoy it whenever I wanted.  I think mine is VERY close to the original… and my hubby thinks it is even better!   I made mine using Oreo’s that had the filling taken (eaten) out.  Then I crushed them in my food processor.  I also froze my coffee in ice cube trays so that the drink would never water down.  Oh, and one of my FAVE parts of this drink is actually the chocolate whipped cream… heaven!!!  I think you will really enjoy this recipe!!!!

I always add frozen coffee ice cubes to my iced coffee and frozen coffee drinks.  This makes it to where the coffee is never watered down!!!

This is how the whipped cream looked right after I beat it.  It tasted just like chocolate mousse!!!

Hershey’s syrup made this even better…

How do you like your coffee?  Have you tried the Mocha Cookie Crumble yet?  We love it and now we can love it even more… as much as we want!!!

  • I full tray of Frozen coffee ice cubes (coffee brewed then placed in ice cube trays and frozen overnight)
  • ¾ or 1 cup milk (more or less to taste and consistency)
  • 1-2 Tbsp sugar (more or less to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp. Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
  • ¼ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup crushed Oreo Cookies (with the middle cream part taken out)
  • Chocolate Whipped Cream (Beat together ¼ cup sugar with 2 Tbsp Cocoa and 1 cup whipping cream)
  1. Blend all ingredient except the chocolate whipped cream in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into glass and serve with the chocolate whipped cream and a few sprinkles of the crushed Oreo's. Enjoy!!!

**Disclaimer: This is not Starbuck’s actual proprietary recipe. This is my own version copycat clone recipe of it. This recipe is for a blended icy coffee frappe / beverage similar to but not the same as Starbucks.

This looks amazing! My baby sister loves to get these on hot summer days, but she asks for a “non-coffee” version. Any idea what to subsitute for the coffee ice cubes so the taste isnt too sweet/different?

Try this, super easy! 4 or 5 oreo cookies, 3 scoops of Haagan Daz vanilla bean ice cream (The richer the ice cream the better the shake) and 3 teaspoons of whole milk. You do not have to use milk if you do not want to.

YUM! This would be perfect for the redcupshowdown?! I just did a chocolate/hazelnut iced coffee for the #redcupshowdown! I’m so happy with the picture. I feel like the stuff we learned in class is finally coming together. :-)

:) I didn’t have all the ingredients for your copycat Mocha Cookie Crumble but I adjusted the recipe with what I had on
hand. My “customer” was highly satisfied. Thank you so much for sharing this.

    Have a blessed day!
