Here are the bunny baskets I made for my 3 girls this year! Aren’t they adorable?
I love when you turn them around they have little bunny tails!
CUTE!
Growing up my mom always made holidays a big deal. She still does. She still has the Easter Basket that she made for me when I was little and she still fills it up for me!!! I am no different when it comes to my girls. I love to make the holidays special. It’s easy to shop for my three girly girls… in the sense that I always know just what they want. Anything plush, cute and girly! However… it is not always easy to stick to a budget! So I recently took on a challenge. What was the challenge?
Spend 30 dollars total to create an Easter Basket! Instead of building just one Easter basket, I built three!!! I had to be very frugal and so I went to KMart to see what good deals I could get there.
I found a lot of wonderful items including these cute Easter baskets. They were very colorful and I knew that they would be perfect to craft-up too! I spent just over $30.00 with tax and I saved over $3.00! You can see the rest of my trip on google plus.
I used the foam mounting tape to stick on the ears that were made of foam and the fur boa that I cut up to put on around the top and for the tail. I had this boa from a Halloween costume and so I just up-cycled it!
I just LOVE the little bunny tail!!!
They each got a bunny for their baskets which were on sale for just $2.99 each! It was really fun to stick to this challenge and I think that I ended up being more creative this way too!!!
And with that… I will leave you with THE END!
Happy Easter!!!
How about you? Are you up for the challenge?
