Thrifty Thursday: Recycled Photo Magnets! (Juice Lids)

What is better than cheapFREE!  I didn’t spend a dime on these super cute photo magnets… everything was recycled- although I will break down a price just in case some of you don’t have all the supplies.
Recycled Photo Magnets

 Supplies:
E-6000 glue (or other craft glue that bonds to metal)
strong magnets (I had some older magnets that I took apart for this) Hobby Lobby has a set of 16 for $1.99- there might be a 40% off there too
Photos (I used leftover Photo Christmas and birthday cards)
Frozen Juice Concentrate Lids (the metal ones)
other misc. items- ribbon, rhinestones, hot glue, scissors, (whatever you want to decorate with!)

So the total to make these is either FREE or around 2 bucks!

 OK- let’s get started!

Lie the lid down on top of the picture- make sure you can’t see any faces sticking out- then trace around it with a pen.

Cut a couple of mm smaller than the outline… see pic below.

Make sure it fits- trim if needed then glue down with E-6000 glue.

Use the E-6000 to glue the magnet to the back.

Now decorate with ribbon- rhinestones ect.  I just used the E-6000 for anything that touched metal… then used hot glue for everything else.

These turned out so cute!  They look great on the fridge!

 Happy Creating!
