Fit Friday

Welcome to Fit Friday!!!   This is where I will be sharing my weight loss, healthy recipes, exercise routines and so on.  I hope everyone will be encouraging and not discouraging- please! :)   It was very hard for me to post this, but I hope that during this process I can be an inspiration.
Bubbly Nature
At my height (5’1.5″) a healthy weight is between 98 pounds and 131 pounds.  I am going to get to a “healthy weight” then reassess my overall health from there.  If I feel like I need to lose more I will do it!
So what is the total I have lost as of January 1st???

8 poundsOnly 32 left to go…

Here are some thing I have been doing… note that that this is a lifestyle for me, not a diet!

1.  First and foremost Sparkpeople.com I can’t speak enough about this wonderful tool.  The resources and sound information are amazing.
2.  Water Water Water!!! (I am perpetually dehydrated- for some reason this is hard for me)
3.  Healthy Choices for food- eating mostly natural foods and cutting sugars and fried foods back significantly.  Lots of fruits and veggies!!!
4. Sticking to a 1200-1500 calorie diet.  It’s a tried and true way of losing weight!
5. Exercise!  I have never lost much weight by diet alone.  Right now I am doing “Walk Away the Pounds” with Leslie Sansone and “Tae Bo” with Billy Blanks.  I do this 4-5 times a week.
6. Weight lifting.  Not for bulking up, but I am aging (yuck) and from this point on in my life I will need to do this!!!
7. Thinking positive.  This is the most important!
8. Supplements: Fish Oil, Vitamin C, Multivitamin

OK… so you want to see pics???  Here they are…I have a lot of trust in you all here! (Why was taking pregnancy progression pics so much easier?)  This is about 2 weeks after I had the baby… Isn’t my family so cute! :)   Look how tiny little “E” is!!!

Here is one of me now: about 15 pounds lighter than the pic above!  Sorry for the blurry pic- my daughter took it. (although she did a pretty good job!)

This is my inspiration dress in 2 dress sizes down.  I usually go down a dress size for every 10 pounds I lose!

The best part is that it only cost me $6.98!  It was on clearance for $9.98 and I had a $3.00 off any Merona from Target!!! I love Target!

Are you needing to lose weight/ get fit and need some help?  I suggest sparkpeople.com first- you can meet me over there my user name is *sparklemama*.  Feel free to also email me at bubblynature (at) gmail (dot) com.

TGIF!

You are beautiful! I still have baby weight to lose, so I am right there with you. I love the "inspiration dress" idea. So smart!

You go girl! My husband is on a big kick to loose weight too, and we are trying to make better food choices because of our children. We have been soda free for a week now – OH SO HARD! I just finished loosing all my baby weight – it took me 1 1/2 years – but I didn't really try very hard.

You are beautiful and creative. It takes a lot of energy to raise three children. I know. I still have not lost the baby weight and my baby will be 4 in june. I have told myself this is my year. I will still take care of my families needs, but momma is not putting herself on the back burner anymore. And even though we see our selves in a certain light. Others just see us as who we are. In your photo of your family , you can tell your husband is a proud man.
