Grab an old T-shirt and your favorite size of bib. Trace a pattern of the bib onto a peice of paper and then trace around the pattern 1/4″ all the way around. Cut out two pieces of fabric from bib pattern and pin together.
Sew a simple seam around the whole bib, but leave a small opening to turn inside out
Once turned inside out sew by hand the opening. Then we are ready for the flower.
Grab your old T-shirt again and cut along the outside of the bottom seam about 12 inches.
Now you are ready to make the flower. Take the strip of fabric and start hand stitching it on where you want it. Start the flower from the inside going out in a spiral shape. Make pleats along the way until you get to the desired size that you want.
Make sure that the flower is secure- if not go back through and keep stitching. To finish off cut off the excess and fold end into flower and stitch secure. You can now place your snaps at the top and you are done! Easy and practically free since it’s re-purposed!
